In Child's Play 3, the Good Guy dolls manufacturer was remaking the same line of toys with the old materials of Chucky, who was burned in a fire at a doll factory. This resurrects Chucky, who goes after his former owner Andy, who was attending military school. Chucky slashes his way through a string of grotesque murders as Andy tries to stop the homicidal doll.
