In the first season of The Mandalorian, the bounty hunter Din Djarin was sent on a mission to capture Grogu, but decided to keep him as his own after seeing that "the Child" was able to harness the mystical energies of the Force. Grogu helped Din Djarin on many of his missions, and continues to help the bounty hunter navigate through the galaxy on the hit series.
